About Us

Trivandrum Management Association (TMA) is one of the premier Management Associations in the country. TMA, which is affiliated with the All India Management Association (AIMA), New Delhi, was established in 1985 by a group of dedicated and enterprising management leaders. TMA comprises CEOs, decision-makers, and industry leaders who are actively involved in the promotion of Management development in the country, particularly in the State of Kerala. TMA is also actively engaged in the promotion of education and training in management. Through its various activities, the association has contributed significantly to all the professional and management initiatives in the Kerala State capital.

The Association’s flagship program is the annual management convention “TRIMA”, which attracts a large gathering of management leaders, industry experts, policy makers, entrepreneurs, academicians and management students in addition to the regular members.

Objectives

  • * To promote professionalism in business management in Kerala through management education, industrial training, exchange of knowledge, sharing of experience and innovative ideas using sound management principles.

  • * To stimulate thinking towards development of a professional management movement and culture in Kerala, by providing appropriate forums for discussion of subjects of common interest in the management field.

  • * To print and publish books, pamphlets, circulars, journals on management subjects and latest trends in management practices as and when an opportunity arises.

  • * To institute and establish grants, scholarships, prizes etc for encouraging students & professional managers to enhance their knowledge of newer practices in management.

  • * To promote professional management in Kerala through tie ups with electronic and print media where innovations in management & entrepreneurship can be communicated to the target audience.

  • * To provide opportunities and facilities for management studies by co-operating with management, technical and educational institutions in the geographic region.
  •  
  • * To maintain a library with professional management education and practice books, periodicals, magazines for members and students of management and also to publish regularly the monthly TMA newsletter.
  •  
  • * To promote and maintain effective liaison with professional organisations and professionals in India and abroad to constantly update TMA’s facilities for management studies for the benefit of members.

  • * To expand membership in an endeavour to bring in professionalism in management in the business organisations & other institutions in the state.
