- Financial Autonomy: In a major policy shift on February 24, 2026, the Kerala Government authorized KINFRA to independently raise loans of up to ₹1,000 crore for land acquisition and infrastructure development.
- New Headquarters: The foundation stone for KINFRA's new headquarters building in Thiruvananthapuram was laid on February 25, 2026.
- Electronics Sector Boost: Two mega projects were inaugurated in early February 2026: the V-Guard Innovation Campus (Kakkanad) and the Kaynes Technology manufacturing unit (Perumbavoor), with a combined investment of over ₹650 crore.
- Graphene Park: KINFRA has allocated land and a 55,000 sq. ft. facility at the KINFRA Defense Park, Ottappalam, for a new Graphene Park Pilot Production Facility.
